PROJECT MANAGER

Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supports implementation of standards-based programs in the areas of Physical Security
- Plans, organizes, and coordinates as assigned internal security enhancements or upgrades to existing security systems in accordance with established security standards
- Self manages security projects ranging from $1 - $1M in value.
- Supports scope creation, vendor review, recommendations, and delivery of security related projects
- Supports coordination of project design reviews, RFIs, clarifications and construction project tracking
- Supports Global Security project initiatives and financial objectives requiring project budget review, PO creation, invoice tracking, and financial updates
- Supports security documentation review, updates, collation, and control
- Minimal travel may be required
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proven track record of effective project management
- Understanding of architectural design and construction delivery processes
- Understanding of access control platforms and video retentions systems with emphasis on AMAG and Lenel access control and Salient video retentions system and components.
- Working knowledge of security system design principles and installation best practices
- Strong management, leadership and planning skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and engagement skills.
- Sound judgment and decision-making ability while under pressure.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, or a related discipline preferred; experience and other educational credits may be substituted.

Overview:
Access Control Coordinator position will support numerous programs ensuring physical access and compliance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with security administration and providing support of physical, administration, communications, operations, and systems security.
Support a global organization by applying comprehensive access control administration knowledge to offer solutions, driving consistent delivery of security programs, and ensuring effective risk management excellence.
Candidate will conduct security training, prioritize system troubleshooting activities, and maintain organization process documentation. Provide direction and security guidance, ensuring compliance for all security obligations.
Preferably based in Dallas, Texas, this will be a hybrid position.
Job Description:
- Demonstrated experience in assessing and managing physical and electronic security systems as well as development of security policies, procedures and plans to safeguard critical infrastructure and other high-value assets.
- Considerable skill in independently overseeing a full workload that involves managing complex issues, establishing priorities, maintaining good working relationships with internal and external resources, while fostering positive relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with internal and external resources (including Senior Management), identifies, evaluates, prioritizes delivery paths for implementing new and/or existing system enhancements, may include supporting defect and or operations remediation.
- Troubleshoot multisystem interdependencies and develop logical outcomes.
- Proactively manage the day, resolving conflicts, coordinating, anticipating, strategizing, and prioritizing to ensure an effective time management approach.
- Working understanding of security system design, operation, and use of building access systems electronics (digital and analog), computer operations, configuring system peripherals.
- Considerable oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, organization and time management skills, and the ability to work independently and lead a team.
- Log inquiries using work order management database, tracks approvals and details steps taken throughout cycle. Provides timely communications with internal and external technical teams, site operations teams, and supporting vendors- directing and leading objectives.
- Generates recurring audit reports and facilitate corrective actions.
- Provides as needed training to field personnel on systems and enhancements.
- Exercise sound judgment and an appropriate sense of urgency.
- May be required to complete special projects, as assigned.
- Position on-call 24/7 and must work off-shift when required.

Preferred Skills:
- Prefer 3 or more years related experience managing physical access systems and processes.

- Prefer SQL experience.
- Must be conscious of process improvement.
